Azure Cloud DWH Expert

 REQUIREMENTS:
At least 7 years of experience in IT, including a minimum of 5 years in DWH and/or Cloud environments.
Very good or expert knowledge of SQL, Azure Cloud, and Databricks.
Proven experience with Azure + Databricks implementations.
Nice to have: experience working with Oracle databases, Power BI (designing and implementing dashboards and reports), Delta Lake, and Spark performance optimization techniques.
English proficiency at B2/C1 level, allowing for smooth communication in an international environment.
Availability ASAP, either full-time or part-time with the option to move to full-time within 1–3 months.
 SCOPE OF DUTIES:
Long-term cooperation with a leading international consulting company providing IT services for large and medium-sized enterprises across various sectors such as automotive, finance, banking, and manufacturing.
Participation in a data environment consolidation and development project for a global telecom client, including taking over services from other vendors. Initially, the focus will be on maintaining existing services, later transitioning toward development in a DevOps delivery model.
Designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based Data Warehouse solutions (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure Data Factory).
Implementing efficient ETL/ELT processes for large datasets.
Integrating data from legacy systems (including Oracle) with Azure-based platforms.
Working in an international environment.

Support in setting up and managing a business for those without B2B experience.
Efficient recruitment process – one or two online technical interviews with managers (each lasting about one hour).
Work hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with some flexibility possible.
